Tools terms & privacy

The tools run entirely on your computer. Your files are never uploaded to my server or anyone else's, and nothing is processed anywhere but your own machine.

Everything happens on your computer

Every tool on this site works inside your web browser. When you choose or drop a file, your browser reads it and your computer does all of the work: decoding the image, merging or converting it, drawing the preview, and building the file you download.

  • Your files are never uploaded to my server, to GitHub, or to any other server.
  • Your files, and the results made from them, are never processed outside your computer.
  • I never see, receive, store, or have access to anything you open in a tool.

When you close or reload the page, the files you loaded are gone from the tool. The only copies are the originals on your disk and anything you chose to download.

Why speed depends on your computer

Because your own device does the work, how fast a tool runs depends on your processor, graphics hardware, available memory, and browser. Large textures, many files at once, and heavy operations such as seam repair or compression take longer on older or smaller devices, and very large files may fail if your browser runs out of memory. The same file can run quickly on one machine and slowly on another. There is no queue and no server to wait for.

What is and isn't collected

The tools have no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics. I do not collect your files, file names, settings, or results.

  • Language choice. Your English or Georgian preference is saved in your browser's local storage on your device. It is never sent anywhere.
  • Hosting. This site is served by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, it may keep ordinary visit records such as your IP address and the page requested. That is GitHub's service and is not something I receive or use. Those records do not include your files, which never leave your computer.
  • Open-source libraries. A tool that reads EXR files can download the open-source three.js decoder from the public jsDelivr network the first time you use it. That is a download of code to your computer. Nothing from your files is sent in return.

Terms of use

By using the tools you agree to the following.

  • Free to use. The tools are free to use. You keep every right to the files you put in and the files you get out.
  • Your files, your rights. Only process files you have the right to use. You are responsible for the content you open.
  • No warranty. The tools are provided as they are, without any promise that they are error-free, suitable for a particular purpose, or always available. Results can differ between browsers and devices.
  • Check your results. Always review output before relying on it, and keep your original files. Tools write new files and never change your originals, but I am not responsible for lost work, corrupted output, or any damage that follows from using a tool.
  • Changes. I may update, rename, or remove a tool, and I may update these terms. The date above shows the latest revision.
