Collection Zones

Automatically organizes objects into collections based on their position in 3D space — making it especially useful for keeping large and complex scenes clean, structured, and easy to manage.

What it does

Automatic zone assignment

Objects are automatically sorted into collections the moment they enter a defined zone — no manual dragging through the outliner.

Manual zones & World Zones grid

Define custom zone cubes manually, or use the World Zones system which divides your scene into a configurable spatial grid — ideal for large open environments.

Exclusions & fallback handling

Tag specific objects to be excluded from zone logic, and configure fallback collections for objects that leave all zones or whose original collection is unavailable.

Movement tracking

Tracks when objects move between zones at runtime or when the scene is updated, automatically re-assigning collections to stay in sync with the scene state.

Collection Zones is currently in active development. The interactive 3D demo above will launch with the product — it will let you drag objects into wireframe zone cubes directly in the browser, mirroring the add-on's core behavior.
